The main point of this photography annual from Canadian Geographic Magazine was to give selected photographers across Canada a subject and let them loose. My assignment was to visually capture four different Squatters, people living off the land viewing life with a minamalistic approach. Finding the subjects was quite difficult and arriving on these unexpecting people and then talking the individuals into letting me photograph them was equally as taxing.
